more training!

Here we are... another one of my training days... and honestly I feel like I am doing quite well... It's been almost 2 weeks since I have posted... Last week I ran my longest ever... 11 miles!!! Whew!! (no, I didn't run the entire time...) but it was pretty awesome!! This week is a little slower which is fine... I ran on Monday morning (Memorial Day) got up early and since the hubby was off, I was out the door to get my run out of the day so we could have a fun family day... My run was AMAZING!! It was 3 miles.. so just right around my house... a route I have run multiple times... and it was awesome... perfect weather... perfect time... and I made a discovery!! I don't like training on the treadmill anymore... it sucks!! I get so bored. I compared my run from Monday to yesterday (which was on the treadmill..) and on the treadmill, I give up much faster... I mentally can't push myself as hard as I want... as to when I am outside, I am never sure how far I have gone and how long I have been going for... until my app tells me... I like it that way.. so starting tomorrow I am training outside for the remainder of my training... it will be good for me to build up my endurance on the pavement... and my lungs to be outside... I am going to rock this 13.1... I can feel it!!
