Eating...

When we got Insanity it came with a little diet guide. It has meal plans for the entire time you are doing Insanity... but I find it kind of hard to follow that diet when you have kids and other family members not doing Insanity that you have to feed... and if your trying to eat healthier you have to ease your kids into it right?? So, I decided to screw the book and kinda do my own thing... I am eating 5 meals a day and I break them down in to 300 calories per meal. I count all  my calories on MyFitnessPal.com  come follow me if you would like my username is courteysmith3212 I would love to have more friends on there.. Anyway.. so I wake up in the morning and get my kids breakfast and turn my Insanity on.. I decided to wait till after my workout to have my breakfast... it just seems better for me that way, although I have thought about mixing it up.. eating waiting an hour and then working out.... BUT have yet to try it...  So for breakfast I have a Whey Protein shake, the chocolate peanut butter one... SOOOOO YUMMY! I just mix one scoop with 8oz of skim milk! my second meal usually consists of a Kellogs Fiber bar along with Plain Greek Yogurt (1/2 cup) sometimes I mix it with fruit and sometimes I have it totally plan... I would have to say I HATED plain greek yogurt.. it was disgusting... BUT... I have kinda acquired a taste for it... and I can eat it no biggie... Why am I choosing plain greek yogurt?? well it has a lot less sugar in it.. or sugar substitute! and I am trying to stay away from un-natural sugars?? Does that make sense?  Back to my meals... for my 3rd meal I usually have a salad with tuna mixed in it or canned chicken... a turkey sandwich... um... what else have I had for lunch??  hmmm... my 4th meal usually consists of a boiled egg and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.. (I used to love cottage cheese... not so much anymore...)  Sometimes I will switch it up with an apple sliced with 2TBS of peanut butter... or two pieces of toast with a boiled egg... just kinda depends... and for dinner I usually have something that we are having for dinner, just modified or a smaller portion.. sometimes i have chili chips and cheese, and I will just have the right amount of chips, a cup of chili and no cheese! I can't  believe how many calories are in cheese.. its crazy, so I have to really be picky of where and how I want to use cheese on my food.  So, that is really it... I really eat the same stuff over and over and over... I need some suggestions of other healthy and inexpensive snacks that I could have... 

Now, I have to be honest... I have eaten pizza a lot! this go around with Insanity... I know how bad it is for me..but pizza is my weakness.... BUT.... I have cut back... before I would just eat and eat until I was sooo full! but now, the most I allow myself is 3 slices... thats it! I know I shouldn't even do 3! but to be honest.. sometimes I do... I try and just eat two...but its really hard!  Also, I have been doing really well with my "bad sugars" I feel like I have been able to control myself really well! Next week, I am going to try and eat super good... no pizza...!!  I want to try really hard to workout really hard and eat really clean to see how much loss I can have.. not only scale..but inches... we shall see!!
