I am sooo happy that I am still losing... I am going to make this commitment.. I will not have any "candy sugar" for the next two weeks... no JUNK!! I can do this for the last 2 weeks!! I am so excited to almost be done with Insanity... I feel confident and motivated to do really well this week and the following one as well. Then I can train for my 10k... so happy!! feelin' good!

Eating...

When we got Insanity it came with a little diet guide. It has meal plans for the entire time you are doing Insanity... but I find it kind of hard to follow that diet when you have kids and other family members not doing Insanity that you have to feed... and if your trying to eat healthier you have to ease your kids into it right?? So, I decided to screw the book and kinda do my own thing... I am eating 5 meals a day and I break them down in to 300 calories per meal. I count all  my calories on MyFitnessPal.com  come follow me if you would like my username is courteysmith3212 I would love to have more friends on there.. Anyway.. so I wake up in the morning and get my kids breakfast and turn my Insanity on.. I decided to wait till after my workout to have my breakfast... it just seems better for me that way, although I have thought about mixing it up.. eating waiting an hour and then working out.... BUT have yet to try it...  So for breakfast I have a Whey Protein shake, the chocolate peanut butter one... SOOOOO YUMMY! I just mix one scoop with 8oz of skim milk! my second meal usually consists of a Kellogs Fiber bar along with Plain Greek Yogurt (1/2 cup) sometimes I mix it with fruit and sometimes I have it totally plan... I would have to say I HATED plain greek yogurt.. it was disgusting... BUT... I have kinda acquired a taste for it... and I can eat it no biggie... Why am I choosing plain greek yogurt?? well it has a lot less sugar in it.. or sugar substitute! and I am trying to stay away from un-natural sugars?? Does that make sense?  Back to my meals... for my 3rd meal I usually have a salad with tuna mixed in it or canned chicken... a turkey sandwich... um... what else have I had for lunch??  hmmm... my 4th meal usually consists of a boiled egg and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.. (I used to love cottage cheese... not so much anymore...)  Sometimes I will switch it up with an apple sliced with 2TBS of peanut butter... or two pieces of toast with a boiled egg... just kinda depends... and for dinner I usually have something that we are having for dinner, just modified or a smaller portion.. sometimes i have chili chips and cheese, and I will just have the right amount of chips, a cup of chili and no cheese! I can't  believe how many calories are in cheese.. its crazy, so I have to really be picky of where and how I want to use cheese on my food.  So, that is really it... I really eat the same stuff over and over and over... I need some suggestions of other healthy and inexpensive snacks that I could have... 

Now, I have to be honest... I have eaten pizza a lot! this go around with Insanity... I know how bad it is for me..but pizza is my weakness.... BUT.... I have cut back... before I would just eat and eat until I was sooo full! but now, the most I allow myself is 3 slices... thats it! I know I shouldn't even do 3! but to be honest.. sometimes I do... I try and just eat two...but its really hard!  Also, I have been doing really well with my "bad sugars" I feel like I have been able to control myself really well! Next week, I am going to try and eat super good... no pizza...!!  I want to try really hard to workout really hard and eat really clean to see how much loss I can have.. not only scale..but inches... we shall see!! 

Lacking a little motivation on the blog...

Sorry, I know I am not posting like usual.... I feel exhausted with the workout... and all  I want to do after I work out is relax! LOL... not good right?? I am going to try and be better... tomorrow I will do my weigh in and take more pictures... Monday I have another fit test on top of the Monday workout... those days are always hard... I am getting closer and closer to being done with Insanity... it is really crazy that I have kept with it... I can't wait!!  I do feel good... but I feel I could be eating a little better too... and I am dying to weigh myself... (like always) but I am going to hold of till tomorrow, I like weighing myself once a week... its much better that way... anyway.... life is good.. summer in full swing... bored out of my mind..but I am catching up on all my shows on netflix... (not so good...LOL) as for now.. I think I am going to do another post about what I eat... just feeling it... love ya

week 1 of month 2 results!

Seems a little lacking something here on my blog... not sure what it is... but I will think of something to spice it up... anyway... this week was sooooooo hard!! totally kicked my butt!! I am so glad it was over yesterday... and have to be honest.. not too excited to do it all over again tomorrow and the next day... BUT... I am STILL seeing results!!

So far, I have lost 8lbs!!! Wahoo!! I feel like this week I have worked sooo hard! this week I want to work even harder... in order to maximize my results!! and I have decided, I PROMISE that when I am done with Insanity the first round I will post my results pictures... no matter what!! and then when I am done with my first round I will focus on my running for my 10k July 24th and after I get back home I will start another round of Insanity! epic fail!

today, I felt angry at myself... I was doing my workout and by the end of it, my muscles were so tired and my body too that I could not do some of the crazy moves! Ugh... just going on a rant!! I want to be able to work my body to its fullest... and maybe right now I am...but very frustrating that I couldn't do all the moves... I am SUPER sore today...but I think working out made it a little better... I will just have to have my boys walk on my back... (its like a massage!)  anyway that is day 2 of month 2 of Insanity!! Stickin' with it... even if it is hard!! I can do this right?!?!

INSANITY MONTH 2

SERIOUSLY??? KILL ME NOW!!

First of all... the calendar said to do the fit test first and then the workout... uh.... yikes!! thats an hour and a half of working out!!!!! I was so tired after the fit test I felt like I literally could not keep up with the regular workout... my muscles were more sore than anything... so it was hard to move my legs... I am for sure going to be sore tomorrow.... but I did burn 731 calories!! wahoo!! I know I won't be burning that much all the time.. (well maybe if I push myself...) but that alright.. I feel so glad that I tried hard to make it through.. and hopefully day by day I will get better and better... On my trip to Utah this weekend I got a lot of compliments of how great I looked! HUGE confidence booster!! So yeah.. anyway... till tomorrow.. I will have to report how it went down after I do it... it really is INSANE!!  love you all!!!

sorry!!!...

I am sooo sorry for slacking big time this last week! It was the recovery week.. and it was still working me and my body... but it was a little break... and, this last weekend I was traveling... I went to Utah to see family... It was hard but I still did the workout while I was there... we left Friday morning ad 6 am so I woke up at 4:30 to workout...  and I was exhausted the entire weekend... but I kept it up... the hard part while traveling is the eating healthy... we were really really tight on money and we ended up having some truck problems that had to be fixed... so it was a little  should I say crazy?? yeah.. hard to stay 100% strict on my eating plans... but I wasn't too bad! Anyway... so since I was traveling I didn't take our scale... and we were coming home on Sunday... long story short... I don't think the measurements and weigh in will be all that accurate... that being said I will post them anyway...  and know that I didn't eat all that great.. and who knows how much my moms scale was off or whatever...

Week 5: So, Sunday morning I DID weigh myself at my parents house with their scale... it read 185 fully clothed... (I always weigh myself in my underwear, I know TMI... so who knows how accurate that really was... but it was a loss... give or take the differences between the two scales... however, this morning I weighed myself and I was at 186.6.... So.... yeah.. Not sure how I feel about that, especially it being my 30 days in... So, I will just keep truckin' and working hard..

Sorry for slacking!!

Yay! So I completed month 1 of Insanity... and honestly it was hard... but I am really proud of myself for making it this far... I feel great... although I am really tired... not sure why, cause isn't exercise supposed to make you have more energy??  Not sure why so yeah whatever... anyway I am on the "Recovery week" of Insanity it's just the week between the 2 months... and today I did it..  It is still hard...but still do-able... just not crazy insane like the first month... He constantly tells you not to push too hard... so its kind of a nice break...but I have a feeling I am going to be crying next week... I am scared to be honest...BUT i will do my best!! Anyway, I was not on the computer pretty much all day yesterday... it was pretty busy for me... Anyway here are my results for week 4
