Running high's and low's

Friday was a bust...! It was my long run...9 miles to be exact... and I thought, I can take my kids to the high school track, that will be fun, they can run with me and play around the track while I sweat it out... right??? WRONG... they were everywhere... going to the bathroom walking around where I couldn't keep track of them... so I got just over 3 miles done there..and decided I can't do this anymore... so I was really mad... the entire way home... so I dropped them off at home with my husband.. and I said "I have to go run another 3..., I'll be back.." and out I went... I took all my frustrations and took them out on my run... so I got just over 7 miles done... which I am pretty happy about... I can't let my self get freaked out like that... My trainer friend that is helping me train for this half.. keeps telling me there are good and bad days... and that I will have them no matter what... so.. with that I am trying to keep my head held high!!! Besides I have this weeks training to get through... I have 4 miles I will be doing tonight... 2 tomorrow.. a 5 mile tempo run on Wednesday... 3 miles Thursday and 12 on Friday..!! Yikes!! I gotta get it all mapped out... and things will be fine!! I got this...!  Here are some pictures to document my week!!
